Diamond cutter Staleks truncated cone DUO EXPERT with blue-green notch for hardware manicure and pedicure is a medium-coarse abrasive tool with double diamond coating, designed for processing rough outer skin. The truncated cone with medium-coarse hardness allows you to work on artificial coatings, give shape, and perform grinding of cracks in pedicure. Suitable for experienced nail masters.

The manicure cone cutter is made by double sputtering diamond chips onto a metal workpiece made of medical-grade stainless steel. First, coarse diamond grains are applied, then the gaps between the coarse chips are evenly filled with medium crystals, densely covering the entire working area. The chips are fixed on the workpiece as a result of a galvanic process: a thin layer of nickel holds the diamond grains, making the connection strong and durable.

This spraying technology gives the tool hardness and wear resistance, eliminates irregularities on the surface of the working part. The DUO hardware manicure attachment will last longer thanks to the double spraying of diamond chips and the fact that the diamond grain is applied evenly, without gaps or sticking in one place.

Staleks diamond cutter truncated cone for manicure and pedicure DUO EXPERT d 2.5 mm medium-coarse performs:

  • treatment of external areas of the skin, excluding the nail surface;
  • polishing of extended nails;
  • shaping the free edge of the nail;
  • correction of the length of the nail plate;
  • opening and sanding cracks in pedicure.

The maximum permissible rotation speed of the diamond tip is up to 30,000 rpm. It is important to follow the recommendations for the number of revolutions for each type of cutter and procedure - working at increased speeds can cause the cutter to overheat and injure the client.

Optimal speed of manicure procedures:

  • Natural nails and skin, thousands of rpm: 5-10 — sawing, thickness reduction, grinding, polishing; 10-15 — cuticle removal, grinding of side rollers.
  • Artificial nails, thousands of rpm: 15-20 — removing thickness, shaping; 20-25 — removing coating, design; 25-30 — forming the free edge; over 30 — certain types of design, other work.
  • Pedicure, thousands of rpm: 5-15 — removing calluses, polishing the skin; 15-25 — cleaning cracks, removing superficial calluses; 25-30 and more — working with core calluses, other types of work.

Diamond cone cutter for manicure and pedicure with coarse abrasive is recommended for experienced nail masters, because it is safe when used correctly and has a high quality diamond coating. The tool is resistant to corrosion, it can be sterilized and disinfected in various ways, except for the use of disinfectant solutions based on active oxygen.

Staleks diamond burr truncated cone for manicure and pedicure DUO EXPERT d 2.5 mm medium-coarse — application:

  1. Choose the tool according to the type of area being treated: cuticle attachment, sanding, length cutting, etc. It is also important to adhere to the recommended number of revolutions for a specific cutter to avoid overheating the tool and injuring the client.
  2. Do not drop or hit the bit - this may cause the center of rotation to shift and lead to defects. A deformed bit cannot be used.
  3. Regularly check the correct centering visually or using a special tool.
  4. Use gloves, safety glasses or a face shield when working.

Cleaning diamond bits

Stalex nozzles withstand all types of disinfection and sterilization (cold or hot).

  • Immediately after use, remove the attachment from the handle of the device. Use a soft brush to carefully remove any remaining nail dust and other dirt. Try not to scratch the surface of the attachment to avoid damage.
  • To remove light dirt from the nail file and other types of attachments, it is not recommended to rinse them with running water using a brush to avoid splashing drops containing possible infectious agents.
  • Disinfection: Prepare a disinfectant solution and place the nozzles in it, following the manufacturer's instructions for time and concentration. It is recommended to choose products that destroy hepatitis B, C and ringworm viruses.
  • Use a container of warm soapy water and a mild detergent. Soak the bur in the solution for 10-15 minutes to loosen any remaining dirt. You can use an ultrasonic bath for a deeper pre-sterilization cleaning.
  • Sterilization: Place the attachments in sterilization bags designed for dry heat or autoclave containers to avoid damage and ensure proper air or steam circulation. at 180°C for 60 minutes, 160°C for 150 minutes.
  • Sterilization time in an autoclave: at a temperature of 120°C, a pressure of 1.1 atm. for 45 minutes; 132°C, a pressure of 2 atm. — 20 minutes. After sterilization in an autoclave, it is recommended to leave the instrument for 1 hour to cool down so that sudden changes in temperature do not damage the attachments.
  • Regularly check the operation of the autoclave or dry heat using biological indicators to ensure sterilization effectiveness.

Storage of diamond bits

  • Store the nozzles in a clean, dry, sterile, closed container. Choose a dry storage location to prevent rust and mold.
  • Avoid getting moisture, dust, and abrasive substances between the working surfaces of the cutters.

When to change the tool

If diamond tips are used, stored and cleaned correctly, their performance will remain up to 3-4 months. The metal will not be covered with corrosion, and the diamond coating will be uniform, without gaps. There should be no burrs or chips on the tip of the sharp shapes.

When is it time to change the nozzles:

  1. The working area has lost its abrasiveness, has become smooth in places or clogged with material. Chips have formed on the tip of the sharp shapes.
  2. The material is removed longer than usual, you want to press harder on the cutter to get results.
  3. The nozzle vibrates and causes burning when the coating is removed.
  4. Tip distortion. Cutters can become distorted as a result of falls, prolonged use, and can be destroyed by aggressive disinfectants and high temperatures during sterilization. A distorted cutter for filing natural nails, removing coatings, and other procedures hits the client's nail hard and overheats due to vibrations, which shortens the life of the device handle.
