Luna Rubber Base

RUBBER BASE is a clear, versatile, flexible base for nail leveling.

Features:

• Has an acidity of 3–4 pH.
• Minimal shrinkage possible during wear due to the elasticity of the base.
• May cause a sensation of warmth and burning on damaged and very thin nails (not on healthy ones).
• Can be used as a base coat for all types of polish and for extensions on gel tips.
• Medium consistency, self-leveling.
• Lamp power for drying the base is 36–48 W. The lamp must be original.
• The main rule for leveling: the thickness at the nail edge should be 0.5 mm.
• Ensures wear without chipping for 3–4 weeks.
• Removes perfectly both by filing and with liquid.
• Suitable for self-leveling on short nails.
• Hypoallergenic and has a neutral scent.

Application method: 

1. Removal.
2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm in length, which will be removed after leveling.
3. Using a 220 grit file, gently buff the nail from above, lifting the nail plate scales, or use a 100 grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If working with removers, wash hands with soap afterward.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail prep. Do two passes. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe for 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange stick, place a wipe on it, and wipe everything in the cuticle area and in the sinuses.
7. Apply dehydrator.
8. Apply ultrabond to 5 fingers and wait 1 minute for it to absorb into the nail plate.
9. The base coat with Rubber Base LUNAmoon is best applied with a flat gel brush. The movements should be rubbing. Paint all nail sinuses and cure in a lamp for 60 seconds.
10. We recommend not removing the tackiness from the base, as it helps to chemically bond with subsequent layers of polish (gel, color, base). Removing the sticky layer weakens chemical adhesion and carries the risk of chipping.
11. File the shape after leveling. This is necessary to create a thickness at the nail edge that will hold the free edge.
12. After filing, remove tackiness and apply a thin layer of gel polish or camouflage base.
13. Apply top coat. Cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe anything after curing, as the shine may be lost.
